Job Description Job Opportunity: Nocturnist OBGYN HospitalistOur organization is currently in search of a dedicated full-time nocturnist OBGYN Hospitalist to manage an average of 3 to 14-hour shifts per week, typically from 5 PM to 7 AM. Support will be provided through back-up call from two hospital-employed groups.Service Line HighlightsWe operate in a close-knit community setting while offering access to a wide range of academic resources.Our facility features an outstanding Level III NICU and has recently integrated a local Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist for consultations.We promote vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) and have anesthesia services available on-site.Compensation and IncentivesWe provide a competitive base salary along with quarterly production incentive bonuses.Attractive recruitment incentives are available, including a signing bonus, student loan assistance, relocation allowance, competitive salary, and continuing medical education (CME) support.Generalist Position DetailsCurrent hospitalist coverage includes two weekdays each week and all weekends.The hospital aims to establish complete weekday night and weekend coverage for generalist groups within the next six months.Call schedule is 1:7, with a backup weekend call of 1:6.Typical Work WeekOne call day per week.Post-call day off for primary overnight coverage; if serving as backup, only morning office hours post-call.2.5 to 3 office days per week.At least 0.5 day dedicated to surgical procedures.We collaborate on all major gynecological surgeries and offer robotic surgery options.Our team-oriented environment values family and work-life balance.We share obstetric volume, including a significant number of high-risk cases.Current OBGYN residents will receive a monthly stipend until the position start date.About GreenwoodGreenwood is a charming town nestled in the foothills of South Carolina, located along the shores of Lake Greenwood.
