The provider will be responsible for seeing approximately 25 patients per day within a structured schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with flexibility for lunch breaks. This role requires no hospital privileges; providers can start promptly once access is established. The position offers the potential for a transition from locum to permanent employment for those interested. The clinic operates in a high-demand, socioeconomically challenged environment, emphasizing compassionate, efficient care.Required SkillsActive California medical license and CA DEA registrationBoard Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of Residency completionBLS certificationAbility to manage a busy outpatient pediatric clinicExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsNice to Have SkillsBilingual in Spanish (preferred, but not required)Experience working in high-demand community clinicsFamiliarity with managing no-show patients and flexible schedulingPreferred Education and ExperienceMD or DO degree from an accredited institutionPediatric residency training completed within the last 5 yearsPrior clinical experience in community or underserved settingsOther RequirementsWillingness to work 5 days a week, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.No call responsibilities; solely clinic-based workProvision of locums-to-permanent interest is advantageousThis position offers an hourly pay rate of $1.00, along with competitive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick leave, licensure and certification reimbursements, and an attractive referral bonus program.
