*QA/QC Infrastructure Coordinator* *Ongoing Long Term Contract* *Washington, DC (travel around East Region of United States)* *$55-63/hr* *Job Overview* We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Infrastructure Coordinator to join our dynamic construction management team. This pivotal role involves overseeing quality assurance and quality control processes across infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with construction regulations, building codes, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of construction quality management, technical drawing interpretation, and regulatory compliance, contributing to the successful delivery of safe, durable, and compliant infrastructure solutions. This position offers an opportunity to lead quality initiatives, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and uphold the highest standards of construction excellence. *Responsibilities* * Develop, implement, and monitor quality control plans aligned with project specifications and regulatory requirements. * Conduct detailed inspections of construction sites to verify adherence to quality standards, building codes (including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, structural systems), and safety regulations. * Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution and compliance. * Manage data collection processes related to quality inspections, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions. * Collaborate with construction management teams to address quality issues promptly and effectively. * Utilize construction management software to track inspection results, document compliance status, and generate reports. * Ensure all work complies with federal and local construction safety regulations as well as industry standards. * Lead team efforts in quality assurance activities during various project phases from initial planning through completion. * Conduct analysis of inspection findings to identify trends or recurring issues and recommend process improvements. * Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, tests, certifications, and regulatory documentation for audit purposes. * Support training initiatives related to construction quality standards and regulatory compliance. *Experience* * Proven experience in construction site inspection or quality control management within infrastructure projects. * Strong understanding of construction regulations including building codes (plumbing, mechanical, electrical), energy codes, and safety standards. * Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and analyze complex construction plans. * Familiarity with construction management software tools used for data collection and project tracking. * Prior experience in managing quality assurance programs within federal or large-scale construction environments preferred. * Knowledge of contracts, specifications, and regulatory compliance requirements related to infrastructure development. * Excellent analysis skills combined with team leadership capabilities to guide multidisciplinary teams effectively. * Hands-on experience with construction inspection procedures and quality control methodologies is essential.
