Store Lead - Part-time

Shoe Carnival is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Store Lead to oversee an area of the store. This role is perfect for someone ready to take on more responsibility and grow into a leadership position.What You'll Do:Lead a department (such as Women's, Men's and Children's departments) and support overall store standardsGreet and assist customers with a positive, helpful attitudeTrain and guide associates on service, product placement, and cash handlingHandle transactions, returns, and safe/till counts as neededOrganize merchandise, displays, and help with truck unloading and floor movesPromote current sales and programsDelegate tasks and communicate clearly with the teamWhat We're Looking For:Strong communication and customer service skillsConfidence in taking initiative and leading by exampleAt least one year experience in retail, sales, or cash handling (preferred)Ability to learn and operate the POS systemFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust be at least 16 years oldPhysical Requirements:Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs during shiftsComfortable bending, squatting, and reaching for merchandiseAble to move quickly in a fast-paced store environmentWhy Work With Us:Supportive team environmentOpportunity to grow into a management roleFlexible full-time or part-time hoursHands-on training and leadership experience
