Position: Clinic Medical Coding Specialist Location: Seward Family Medical Center Schedule: Part Time | Monday – Friday Memorial Health Care Systems (MHCS), a nationally recognized Critical Access Hospital, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Clinic Medical Coding Specialist to join our dedicated team at the Seward Family Medical Center. **This is not a remote position.** Key Responsibilities: Perform accurate data entry and daily auditing of medical charges Assist with patient scheduling, insurance inquiries, and billing questions as needed Ensure compliance with coding standards and contribute to efficient clinic operations What We’re Looking For: Exceptional customer service, phone, and communication skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines High school diploma or GED required; additional training or experience in medical coding preferred Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and RH Billing is required Preferred Qualifications: 1–3 months of related experience or equivalent education/training Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare billing practices Why Join MHCS?
