Wood Shop Associate

We are a specialty wood product manufacturer on Route 1 in Waldoboro, Maine. Everyday we put on our (company provided!) blue tooth headphones and work together to create custom pieces for our clients. We are growing and are looking for someone to join our team of craftspeople! What will this position be responsible for? Assisting the Production Coordinator with construction of custom wood products Working with hand tools, shapers, and table saws Sanding surfaces, dry fitting products, and assembling for completion Assisting with cleaning and maintaining a safe and efficient work area Who are you? Someone with an eye for detail You like working with your hands and creating something tangible You appreciate work life balance and paid holidays You like petting dogs and cake on your birthday 20 hours/ week to start with the ability to increase to full time in Spring.
