Opportunity Details: Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. Assists in surgery and performs minor surgical procedures such as suturing and wound care. Direct patient care: assessment, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, patient diagnosis, prescribing medications and treatment. Provides patient education and follow-up, assists in the operation of Outpatient Pediatric Surgical Practice. Ready, willing and able to actively participate in patient resuscitation when indicated. Participates and assists in tasks and generation of metrics to support quality assurance and performance improvement for the Department of General Surgery and the Pediatric Trauma/Surgery Division. Qualifications Board Eligible or Board Certified by the NCCPA. Licensed to practice in New York State. DEA prescribing license. ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS certification or eligible to obtain. Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836* based on 40-hour work week and years of state licensure. The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below: 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
