Assembler
Overview:
An assembler constructs and prepares packaging materials by folding, taping, and hot-gluing flat corrugated or cardboard sheets into finished containers.
1st shift: 7am-3:30pm M-F
Short term project (2 months) with a possibility to be hired permanent!
Responsibilities:
Box Assembly: Fold and construct various styles of corrugated boxes by hand or by operating gluing/taping machinery
Quality Control: Inspect finished boxes for proper closures, gluing issues, labeling accuracy, and structural integrity
Line Supply: Ensure assembled boxes are continuously fed to the packaging or production lines in a timely manner
Material Handling: Stack, bundle, and organize flattened or finished boxes, as well as move corrugated materials using pallet jacks or carts
Typical Qualifications & Requirements:
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive bending, and frequently lift up to 35–50 lbs
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
