Job Title:Associate Patient Care Coordinator (Float)CONTRACT TO HIRE!!!Location:Southborough, MA (Base Location) - 24 Newton StreetFloat coverage required at Reliant Medical Group locations in Southborough, Milford, Framingham, and WestboroughSchedule:Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMJob OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Associate Patient Care Coordinator (Float)to support patient check-in and order management for laboratory and radiology services across multiple Reliant Medical Group locations. The primary base location for this role is Southborough , with occasional coverage required at Milford, Framingham, and Westboroughlocations when there are staff absences or scheduled time off.This role plays a key part in ensuring patients are properly checked in, orders are processed accurately in Epic, and patients are directed to the appropriate department for services. The position requires a strong ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with onsite laboratory and clinical teams when needed.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and check in patients for laboratory and radiology servicesTriage patients to the appropriate department based on their visit or service needsRelease lab and radiology orders in the EpicsystemIdentify missing orders and coordinate with clinical departments to obtain themCollaborate with Quest laboratory staffand onsite clinical teams when necessaryPrepare and distribute imaging CDsfor patient pickupMaintain accurate patient records and documentationProvide excellent customer service to patients, providers, and staffEnsure patient information is handled in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policiesTravel between assigned locations as needed to provide coverageWork Environment Employee will work independently approximately 80% of the timeAround 20% of the role involves collaborationwith Quest staff and clinical teams onsiteFast-paced healthcare environment supporting lab and radiology servicesFloat rolesupporting multiple Reliant Medical Group locations as neededQualificationsRequired: High school diploma or equivalentStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently and stay organized in a busy environmentBasic computer skills and attention to detailAbility to travel between Reliant Medical Group locations when coverage is neededPreferred: Previous healthcare, medical office, or patient services experienceExperience working with Epic electronic health record (EHR) systemLicense/Certification No professional license or certification requiredIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and patient-focused with strong customer service skills. They are comfortable working independently, adaptable to working at multiple locations when needed, and able to efficiently manage patient check-ins and order processing.
