Box Office Manager / Ticketing (Part-Time) Newton, NJ $25$30/hour | ~20 hours/weekAbout The Role The Newton Theatre is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to manage day-to-day box office and ticketing operations.This is a hands-on position focused on building shows, selling tickets, and ensuring accurate box office operations, while providing excellent customer service to our patrons.Responsibilities Build and manage events in ticketing softwareSell tickets over the phone and assist customers with purchasesProvide friendly, professional customer service to all patronsSchedule and oversee part-time box office staffHandle refunds and ticket exchangesManage chargebacks and related issuesReconcile box office cash drawers at end of dayMaintain accurate ticketing records and transactionsHours MondayFriday, 10:00 AM 2:00 PMAdditional hours required on show nights as neededRequirements Experience with ticketing systems preferred (ShowClix or similar)Strong attention to detail and accuracyFriendly, patient, and comfortable working with the publicStrong communication skillsBasic computer skillsIdeal Candidate Has box office or customer service experienceEnjoys working with people and solving problemsIs dependable and organizedCan work independently and follow throughReports To General Manager
