The successful candidate will be a key figure in the organization, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with elected officials, legislative staff, and government agencies at all levels. This role involves monitoring and analyzing legislation and regulatory proposals, developing and implementing advocacy strategies, and representing the organization in various forums. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in policy, strategy, public policy, and/or legislative work, with a strong background in team management and development. Experience in working with regulatory agencies is a plus.Key responsibilities for the Vice President include strategic advocacy and campaign planning, team leadership and management, and overseeing the organization's engagement in litigation, legislation, and rulemaking. The role requires a candidate with strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate complex policy and political environments. Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to build strong relationships are essential. The candidate should be flexible, creative, and solutions-oriented, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
