Security Site Supervisor

We are looking for a professional security guard to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report. *Responsibilities* * Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment * Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances * Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property * Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences * Report in detail any suspicious incidents * Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter * Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates * *An extremely high-level of customer service skills are needed.* * Routine heavy lifting may be required. * Routine walking is required. * Climbing Staircases multiple times throughout shift may be required. * *Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of residents, visitors, and other persons, in order to maintain security of the entirety of the building.* * Knowledgeable about residential and/or commercial rules, and effectively answer inquiries specific to the property. * Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards. * Effectively understand and utilize technology products such as a smartphone, computer, tablet, etc. * Ability to prepare reports in a clear and concise manner. * Spelling and grammar skills are essential. * Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. * The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Skills * Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position * Trained security officer with diploma * Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment * Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols * Surveillance skills and detail orientation * Integrity and professionalism *Job Qualifications & Requirements:* * Current Arizona Security Guard License * At least 3 years of experience as security guard preferred, but not required. * Must have 2 years supervisory experience. * Must be at least age 18. * Must be able to pass an in-depth criminal background check. * Must be able to pass a drug screening. (This is a zero tolerance work environment). * Must have a reliable means of transportation. * Must have the legal right to work in the United States. * Must have the ability to effectively speak, read, and write English. * Ability to pass an English composition assessment upon request (This ensures the ability to utilize proper grammar & spelling for report writing). * Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
