Power BI Developer

Overview:A maritime classification company in Spring, TX is seeking a mid-level Power BI Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of reporting and dashboard solutions for internal surveyors and engineering teams. This individual will play a key role in modernizing existing reporting, and potentially help transition legacy IBM Cognos dashboards into Power BI. This position is required to work onsite 3 days / week, with work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Based on knowledge and years of experience, this position offers an hourly pay rate of $50-60/hr.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Maintain and enhance existing Power BI dashboards used by surveyors and engineering teamsSupport and troubleshoot current IBM Cognos reporting environmentCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and build new dashboards in Power BIAssist with the long-term migration strategy from Cognos to Power BI, including redesigning legacy reportsEnsure data accuracy, performance optimization, and usability of dashboardsWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
