Part-Time Traveling Oral Surgeon Location:Asheville, NC (serving 7 offices within the greater Asheville area) Schedule:3-4 days per week Travel:Local travel between offices About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced, compassionateOral and Maxillofacial Surgeonto join our growing dental network in the Asheville, NC region. This uniquetraveling positionoffers flexibility and variety you ll provide surgical services acrossseven established, modern dental offices , each equipped with experienced support staff and state-of-the-art technology. The ideal candidate is a board-certified or board-eligible oral surgeon who values patient-centered care, enjoys working in diverse clinical settings, and thrives in a collaborative, team-based environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, bone grafting, and pathology.Conduct consultations and develop comprehensive treatment plans in coordination with referring general dentists.Travel to assigned partner offices within the Asheville area on a rotating schedule.Provide follow-up care and ensure high standards of patient satisfaction and safety.Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.Foster strong relationships with referring providers and office teams.QualificationsDDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.Board certified or board eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.Current North Carolina dental license (or eligibility for licensure).Current DEA and BLS/ACLS certification.Valid driver s license and reliable transportation.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive per diem or percentage-based compensation.Equipment providedFlexible scheduling to accommodate work-life balance.Administrative and clinical support providedOpportunities for growth within a multi-location dental group.Why Join UsYou ll be part of a well-established, collaborative network of dental professionals committed to excellence in patient care.
