Phlebotomist
LabCorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Little Rock, ARWork Schedule: Monday - Friday hours will vary based on coverage needs between 7:00am to 6:00pm (overtime and rotating weekends may be required as needed)Job Responsibilities:* Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups* Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.* Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner* Process billing information and collect payments when required* Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis* Maintain patient and specimen information logs* Provide superior customer service to all patients* Administrative and clerical duties as necessary* Travel to additional sites when needed, Reliable transportation requiredMinimum Qualifications:* High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:* 2 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment* 1 or more years' experience assisting all patient age groups (pediatric - geriatric)* Current or prior LabCorp experienceAdditional Job Standards:* In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency* Will cover sites in Little Rock, AR and surrounding areas (50+ miles)* Ability to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment* Able to pass a standardized color blindness test* Be 21 years of age or older and have a clean driving record* Flexibility to work overtime as needed* Exceptional customer service* Strong communication skills; both written and verbal* Ability to work independently or in a team environment* Comfortable working under minimal supervisionAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
