JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: Asset Reference Data Analyst (Entry Level)Pay Rate: $28/hr W2Duration: 6 Months (RTH Opportunity)Location: Newark, DE (Onsite)Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM (may rotate to 10:00 AM 7:00 PM; OT as needed)Important Notes:Bachelor's Degree REQUIREDFresh graduates are welcomeWork Model: 5 days onsiteInterview Process: 2 rounds (1 in-person required)Job Summary:The Asset Reference Data Analyst will be part of the Instrument Reference Data Operations team, responsible for delivering high-quality securities reference data across multiple lines of business. This team operates as a center of excellence, sourcing, validating, and distributing instrument data used in trading, risk management, fund valuation, settlement, and regulatory reporting.Key Responsibilities:Perform daily validation of reference data within internal systemsSource, validate, and maintain instrument and pricing dataWork with external data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters) and internal tech teamsResolve data discrepancies and client queries in a timely mannerEnsure accuracy and timely delivery of financial dataParticipate in process improvements and automation initiatives (AI/tools)Support monthly deliverables and reporting deadlinesCollaborate with stakeholders across operations, technology, and business teamsEscalate issues appropriately and maintain strong documentationRequired Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (MANDATORY) Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, CS, Engineering preferredStrong understanding or interest in financial markets / fixed income / securitiesProficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:Exposure to Fixed Income, Pricing, Fund Valuation, or Market DataKnowledge of corporate actions, index benchmarking, and financial instrumentsFamiliarity with Bloomberg / ReutersExposure to AI / ML tools (Alteryx, Tableau, etc.)Top Skills:Team player mindsetFinancial acumenFlexibility and adaptabilityFast learner with proactive approachRed Flags:Frequent job hoppingLack of flexibility or adaptabilityIdeal Candidate Profile:Entry-level finance graduate with strong analytical mindsetComfortable working in data-heavy, operations environmentInterested in financial markets and data analytics
