The ideal candidate should have hands on expertise in PowerBI, leading offshore team, as well as working with various stakeholders independently. Candidate should work onsite at Austin, TX.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect & Develop: Design and create complex, interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI using advanced features (DAX, M Code, Level of Detail expressions, Actions, and Parameters).Data Modeling & SQL: Should have extensive experience in designing PowerBI Data Models as well as complex SQLs.Technical Leadership: Lead a team of BI developers, conducting code reviews and enforcing best practices for report performance, usability, and visual aesthetics.Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI datasets (DirectQuery vs. Import) for maximum performance, aiming for sub-second rendering on large datasets.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business leaders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications for visual analytics.Migration & Modernization: Lead efforts to migrate legacy Tableau dashboards into a modern, optimized Power BI environment.Required Skills & ExperienceExperience: 10+ years of total experience in Business Intelligence, with 7+ years of hands-on.Power BI Expertise: Deep knowledge of DAX (Advanced formulas), Power Query (M), Power BI Service, Power BI Dataflows, and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).Tableau Proficiency: Good to have experience on Tableau, otherwise should be able to quickly learn Tableau for Tableau to PowerBI migrationSQL Knowledge: Advanced SQL programming skills (Stored Procedures, CTEs, Views) for data manipulation.Data Warehouse Concepts: Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, ETL, and data modeling methodologies.Leadership: Proven ability to lead projects, manage stakeholder expectations, and offshore team independently.Email-
