Senior Manager, Social Media - Games

We are searching for a passionate and experienced Senior Social Manager to lead our expanding Games Social team. This role will be pivotal in shaping multi-title brand moments, major game campaigns, and collaborations with top studios. As a Senior Social Manager, you will not only grasp social marketing and the digital landscape but also understand the unique Netflix social ecosystem, effectively translating our business strategies within it. You'll work collaboratively across teams to launch impactful social campaigns that spark conversation and increase awareness across our diverse offerings. This position focuses on crafting engaging strategies that resonate with both casual players and committed gamers, positioning Netflix prominently in the gaming world. In this position, you will be responsible for:Developing and owning the social strategy for Netflix Games, ensuring alignment with our global Games creative vision and broader business objectives while targeting various player demographics. Creating a framework for how game campaigns utilize Netflix's social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X/Twitter, Discord, Reddit, etc.) to enhance engagement and build fandom. Overseeing social content for key titles and multi-title campaigns, ensuring consistency and quality from announcement to launch and beyond. Collaborating closely with marketing, publicity, communications, product, and studio teams to integrate social media into significant gaming brand moments. Partnering with Title Marketing to ensure individual campaign plans align with the greater UCAN and global Games strategy, offering high-level guidance and support. Serving as a senior liaison for game studio partners and external collaborators, managing relationships and translating their needs into actionable social plans. Setting social KPIs for major campaigns and advising regional and global teams on social success metrics for Games. Qualifications and Skills:10+ years of experience in social media and digital marketing, particularly in gaming or related fields. Proven capability in leading large, multi-platform campaigns that involve diverse stakeholders. Experience operating at a senior management level, adept at defining strategy and framework implementation. A balance of high-level vision with detailed execution, providing clear guidance without micromanaging. Expertise in social strategies, platform best practices, and the gaming community, effectively translating goals into social-native concepts. In-depth understanding of various social platforms and how to curate creative content specific to each. Creative insight with the ability to give constructive feedback on social-first concepts and initiatives. Exceptional communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior audiences and influencing key stakeholders. Adept at building strong relationships across teams and with external partners, demonstrating diplomacy and clarity. Netflix's compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary, without bonuses. You can choose how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options each year. The range for this role is $280,000.00 - $467,000.00. We provide generous paid time off policies, with full-time hourly employees accruing 35 days annually and salaried employees entitled to flexible time off.
