The LPN can also be seen as support between Registered Nurses and Therapeutic Program Workers (CNA/STNA) on the unit.QualificationsLicense to practice nursing as a licensed practical nurse issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing pursuant to Section 4723 Ohio Revised CodeProof of completion of an approved course in medication administrationNo experience requiredKey ResponsibilitiesCompletion of physician orders: assist with physical exams, treatments & collects specimens as needed; administer medication including controlled substancesObserves & documents residents' condition in Point-Click-Care system, reports to medical teamCreates other necessary reports (e.g., progress notes, care plans, monthly summaries)Provides general nursing and direct care to residents such as assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, assist with ambulation, range of motion.May escort and support residents at medical appointments or recreational activitiesAssists with redirecting unsafe actions to bring about positive outcomesApplies safety & infection control measuresProvides assistance (e.g., work direction, training, etc.) to Therapeutic Program Workers (STNA) as assignedAttends team meetings, trainings, etc.All other duties as assignedNext Steps:* Ready to apply?
