Gold Coast Beauty & Spa is seeking a passionate and skilled Nail Technician to join our growing salon team! Position Overview This position offers hourly pay plus commission based on individual sales performance. A detailed commission chart will be attached to the job description. All employees are expected to follow the standards and policies outlined in the Employee Handbook. Key Responsibilities Perform professional manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, nail art, and repairs Deliver personalized consultations and recommend suitable retail products and services Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-organized workstation in full compliance with salon hygiene standards Stay informed about the latest nail trends, techniques, and products Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through exceptional service and care Qualifications Valid Illinois Nail Technician License Proven experience in gel, acrylic, and nail art applications Strong attention to detail and commitment to sanitation protocols Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a team-oriented environment Compensation Hourly Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience) Commission: Based on individual sales productivity (see attached chart) Benefits Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance Opportunities for professional development and advanced training Supportive and creative team environment Work Location In-person at our Chicago salon location Employment Type Full-time and Part-time positions available Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 6 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Professional development assistance Work Location: In person
