Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality outpatient care to patients across all age groups, focusing on preventive health, chronic disease management, and overall wellness. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in memory care, sterile processing, and familiarity with Cerner electronic health records is highly desirable. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop individualized care plans. Provide primary care services including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. Perform routine physical examinations and preventive health screenings. Administer vaccinations and other preventive measures in accordance with established standards. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Educate patients and their families about health maintenance and disease prevention strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems. Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes. Stay current with best practices in outpatient care, critical care, and memory care. Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by a recognized certifying body. Valid state nursing license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Experience in outpatient settings preferred; familiarity with sonography is a plus. Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of sterile processing standards is advantageous.
