Join Our Team as a Restaurant General Manager!As a Restaurant General Manager (RGM), you will take charge of the daily operations of our vibrant restaurant, leading a team of 10-45 employees dedicated to delivering outstanding guest satisfaction. Your expertise will drive our goals for increased sales, profitability, and employee retention. You will leave a mark by overseeing financial controls, operations, people development, and ensure compliance with company standards. This role requires flexibility, as you may need to work long or irregular shifts, including extra shifts to keep our restaurant running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:Efficiently manage restaurant operations while promoting friendly service and high-quality food. Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the restaurant. Cultivate strong customer relations and promote a culture of guest satisfaction among your team. Recruit, interview, and hire team members while ensuring compliance with all I-9 Form regulations. Train and develop all personnel to meet our high standards. Oversee inventory management, stock rotation, and daily inventory counts. Purchase and receive supplies, verifying invoice accuracy. Handle administrative paperwork as directed by the District Manager. Maintain specific production standards and control food costs. Prepare employee schedules and assign various duties effectively. Manage labor costs proficiently. Understand and analyze profit and loss statements to enhance operations. Execute in-store marketing strategies and display promotional materials accurately. Execute public relations initiatives as assigned by the company. Implement a preventative maintenance program for all equipment and premises. Ensure security policies are adhered to in all restaurant operations. Follow all operational procedures as outlined in training manuals. Participate actively in achieving company goals through planning and organization. Enforce cash procedures as outlined in company policies. Maintain required reports and complete shift-change procedures accurately. Be proficient in all restaurant team member positions. Conduct timely and thorough performance reviews per company guidelines. Document and counsel employees in line with company policies. Uphold speed of service standards. Ensure all employees meet uniform and appearance standards. Project sales, labor, and production needs effectively. Enforce all company policies and procedures. Make each guest feel special! Complete other duties as assigned by the District Manager. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Strong organizational and prioritization abilities. Capability to develop and execute management plans. Ability to analyze and interpret business reports and budgets. Mathematical skills for practical applications. Aptitude to follow varied instructions in different formats. Proficient with computers and calculators. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Able to work 50-65 hours per week across six days. Requirements:Must be at least 18 years old. Possess an automobile with the necessary insurance coverage. Valid Driver's License. High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of all internal certification programs. 1-2 years of restaurant management experience. Must pass a criminal background check. Physical Working Conditions:This position is active and requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and at times, climbing and crawling. You must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds, and there's exposure to loud noise, mechanical parts, and varying conditions. Regular standing for extended periods is required, along with clear communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
