Job Description All team members are responsible for giving customers a great first impression of The Halal Guys. When a customer arrives at The Halal Guys, they must always receive a warm and sincere welcome, and as they depart, they should receive a heartfelt thank you.Team Members should perform the following tasks with exemplary grace, thoroughness, efficiency, diligence and style:Understand thoroughly and articulate with enthusiasm the details of The Halal Guys' food menu and beveragesAnticipate what the customer wants and does not wantKnow how and when to provide what the customer needs, wants and does not yet know they want, tactfully and with confidenceTake the extra step to turn good service into great service and make it an experience each customer will rememberTeach and lead other members of the service teamAct as the consummate host, always looking for ways to exceed our customer's expectationsMaintain the cleanliness and neatness of the restaurant. Responsibilities:Accurately and efficiently completes all sales transactionsEnsure each customer receives outstanding hospitality in a friendly environmentGreeting customers courteously and explain the menu; knowledge of productsPortioning, plating and saucing orders to store standardsAssisting all team members with various daily duties and prep workRinging up orders, checking and expediting orders and maintain cleanliness of own station and certain areas of the restaurantMaintain guest relations in the dining room, troubleshoot any problems that may arise during servicePromote the bran at catering and special eventsRequirements:Excellent phone etiquetteReliable transportation to and from workPositive, honest, patient and encouraging demeanorEnergetic, super friendly and a proactive team playerAbility to lift, bend, stoop, walk and perform other physical tasks for hours
