Position: Mechanical Engineer – Airborne Radar Design
Type: Onsite
A U.S. citizen with or able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance is required.
What You Will Do Provide technical support on major programs and interface with Lead Mechanical Engineers and Chief Engineers to support design objectives.
Lead small teams through design development and ensure procedures are followed while meeting all program design objectives.
Provide support to suppliers fabricating components and assemblies.
Maintain positive relationships with Engineering and Program Management through strong communication skills.
Qualifications You Must Have Typical requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with CREO or similar 3D solid modeling software.
Mechanical design, development, documentation, fabrication, assembly, and test/delivery of military electronic products.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer Broad hardware engineering background.
Excellent interpersonal, multi‑tasking, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and lead small teams.
Experience in defense or aerospace environments.
Exposure to RF principles, RF circuit card design, RF materials, manufacturing and producibility.
What We Offer Salary range: $75,800 – $144,200 USD.
