Physician

Description: Inomedic Health Applications, Inc. (IHA) is seeking a physician to provide occupational medicine services at the Hanford environmental restoration site in Richland, Washington. This is an in-person position. Duties / Responsibilities The Physician is responsible for: Providing initial evaluation and treatment for urgent injuries/illnesses and facilitating safe and timely return to work after injuries/illnesses. Conducting regulatory examinations as required by OSHA, DOE, State and local regulatory authorities. Working with employers and other stakeholders to identify and communicate environmental risks and mitigation of health and safety hazards at the worksite. Providing guidance and advice to employees on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Participating in developing and implementing workplace health and safety policies and procedures. Implementing best practices and current standards of clinical care in support of the workforce. Requirements: The qualified candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience providing clinical care in the field of occupational medicine and must be eligible for a DOE Access Authorization and appointment as a Designated Physician for the DOE Human Reliability Program. Education / Training: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Residency in Occupational & Environmental Medicine strongly preferred. Other relevant specialty training may be considered (e.g., Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation). Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Knowledge of OSHA, DOE, State and Local health and safety regulations. Skilled clinician with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills with ability to use an electronic health record system (EHRS). Licenses / Certifications / Registrations: Valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Washington. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Board certification in Occupational Medicine is desired. Supervisory Responsibilities: General oversight of allied supporting clinical staff Working Conditions: Outpatient clinic environment. May require minor lifting and bending. Complies with organizational safety and health policies and site-specific procedures. Identifies potential safety and health hazards and reports concerns and incidents to supervisory personnel. Ensures safe operating conditions within area of responsibility.
