Media Manager Location: Chicago, IL (Remote with occasional Onsite)Weekly Hours: 30 hours per week on averageA leading global consumer brand within the FMCG space is seeking a Media Manager to support media strategy, planning, and investment across North America. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, partnering closely with internal marketing teams and external agency partners to drive effective, data-informed media execution across multiple markets.Responsibilities:Support the development and execution of media strategy across the North America regionPartner with marketing teams to analyze campaign performance, identify insights, and recommend optimizationsEnsure media campaigns are executed in alignment with approved strategies, budgets, and internal processesOversee media planning and buying activities across key markets including the U.S., Mexico, and the U.K.Manage campaign data and reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved plansManage agency relationships and ensure strong service, performance, and alignment with business objectivesParticipate in cross-functional meetings with internal stakeholders and agency teams to guide media strategy and executionMonitor competitive activity and industry trends within the FMCG category to inform strategic recommendationsQualifications:Required:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field5+ years of experience in media planning, buying, or strategy (agency and/or in-house)Strong understanding of digital media channels and performance metricsExperience working within FMCG, CPG, or similarly fast-paced consumer categoriesPreferred Skills:Experience supporting media strategies with budgets of $10M+Familiarity with DSP platforms such as The Trade Desk, Epsilon, or similarStrong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insightsWhat You’ll Bring:Strong collaboration skills across internal teams and external partnersAbility to manage multiple markets and priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume consumer environmentDetail-oriented approach with a focus on execution and accuracyStrategic thinking with a hands-on approach to media planning and optimization
