As a growing manufacturer of overhead bridge cranes and structural steel products, we serve industrial and commercial customers throughout Central Wisconsin with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and craftsmanship. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door with a stable manufacturing company.No previous manufacturing or sandblasting experience is required.You will assist with general production, material handling, cleanup, and preparation of large steel components. You may also have the opportunity to learn and occasionally assist with sandblasting and other surface-preparation tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with general labor and production activities throughout the manufacturing facility.Help prepare large steel and metal components for finishing through cleaning, sanding, grinding, and other basic preparation tasks.Occasionally assist with sandblasting after receiving proper training.Move and position materials and fabricated steel components safely.Assist experienced employees with production and fabrication tasks as needed.Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.Safely use basic hand tools and production equipment after training.Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.Assist with material handling using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment as trained and authorized.Support the team with various duties as production needs require.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsNo previous experience required we are willing to train the right person.Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team.Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.Comfortable working around large steel components and manufacturing equipment.Previous manufacturing, construction, welding, sandblasting, or general labor experience is a plus, but not requiredAbility to work overtime when production demands require.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout the workday.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to work around large fabricated steel components and manufacturing equipment.Comfortable working in a production environment and wearing required PPE.Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely.Compensation & Benefits$17$26 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsFirst shift: 7:00 AM 3:00 PMPaid lunch breakOvertime opportunities availableExcellent health insuranceFull benefits packagePaid vacationProfit-sharing programStable, long-term career opportunity with a growing Wisconsin manufacturerNo experience?
