This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering the chance to play a critical leadership role in shaping the company’s software engineering function as it scales.This position is highly hands-on and impactful, combining technical leadership with active development. The ideal candidate will take ownership of architecture, contribute production-level code, and drive key software decisions across the product.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and own the architecture and technical direction for iOS (Swift) applications and device interfacesDesign, develop, and maintain high-quality native iOS applicationsBuild and support web interfaces and backend services (Google Cloud Platform preferred)Serve as a key decision-maker for cross-functional product and engineering initiativesLead integration efforts across software, firmware, and hardware teams (no prior firmware/hardware experience required)Establish and evolve development standards, best practices, and CI/CD pipelinesConduct code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, security, and maintainabilityRequired QualificationsStrong experience developing iOS applications using Swift, particularly those interfacing with medical devicesProven ability to own and deliver software products end-to-endExperience working across both mobile and web platformsHands-on development experience with RESTful APIsPreferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Google Cloud Platform (AWS is also acceptable)Familiarity with Kubernetes and modern CI/CD pipelinesExperience in medical device environments, including knowledge of ISO 13485 / IEC 62304 standardsWork EnvironmentThe team offers a collaborative and relaxed work culture with a strong emphasis on cultural fit and teamwork.
