This is your chance to join a growing, dynamic team.Pay Range:$25-$35/hourBenefits:In addition to a competitive rate, we also offer:Over-time after 8 hours/per day; plus Saturdays & HolidaysDouble-time on Sundays401(k) Retirement Plan match, up to 8% after 90 daysCompany funded Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) funded by NAMSMedical, Dental & Vision coverageLife insurance (no cost to you!)Short-term disability (no cost to you!)Long-term disability (no cost to you!)Referral Bonus ProgramPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysOn-going professional training and developmentOpportunities for advancementJob Summary An Industrial Plumber is tasked with a wide range of complete plumbing services for multiple industries.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdheres to all Company policies and OSHA/MSHA safety rules & regulationsMaintain ethics and professionalism in the execution of the dutiesTakes swift action to stop any imminent danger situations you may encounterPromptly reports all accidents and near misses, including minor first aid and property damages prior to end of shift;Conducts daily workplace exams; identifies and promptly resolves potential hazards or immediately barricades area or equipment and contacts NAMS and/or the customer's safety team to resolveProvides service and maintenance to customersInstalls, repairs, and maintains pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste distribution in commercial and industrial buildingsPerforms scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, maintenance, inspections, site surveys, as needed or requested by customersConducts backflow inspections and repairsLocates underground pipingPerforms water and gas main repairs, replacements and installationsReplaces and installs water heatersTravels to customer job sites, including extended stays during from time to timeRequirements and Qualifications High school diploma or certification in a skilled trade5 years' relevant experience in an industrial or construction setting (residential plumbing is not considered relevant)Journeyman's License preferred; backflow license a plusCommercial sewer and drain experienceMust be familiar with industry standard & code compliant construction practicesAbility to read drawings, plans, and blueprints and convey this information to othersAbility to communicate effectively including interpersonal skills; must be a team playerParticipates in emergency after hours responseGood physical condition and staminaValid Driver's License with an acceptable driving recordOwns minimum personal tools required for essential tasksPhysical Requirements: Frequently required to walk, sit, stand, balance, stoop, bend, push, pull, lift, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb stairs/ladders and use of fingers and handsDiverse working conditions including mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment and other precarious places; exposure to extreme temperatures/weather at timesMust have vision, hearing, and ability to talkMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at timesAbility to travel independently throughout multiple NAMS facilities including customer job sites
