Benefits: Competitive salary Location Onsite: Tallahassee, FL Experience Level Mid–Senior Level (5 or more years of relevant experience) Role Overview The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering reporting and analytics solutions using Tableau and related tools. This role supports data processing, reporting accuracy, and quality assurance while producing technical documentation and ensuring solutions meet established standards. The position collaborates with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable, production‑ready business intelligence outputs and supports ongoing operations through documentation and knowledge transfer. Key Responsibilities BI Development & Reporting Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with business requirements Deploy interactive BI solutions to production environments Data Processing & Testing Engineer and process test data to support development and validation activities Support batch processing and data job execution within Tableau environments Participate in software testing activities including unit testing and validation Technical Design & Documentation Develop technical documentation including architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and design standards Maintain detailed technical specifications and design artifacts Document data flows, reporting logic, and system configurations Quality Assurance & Governance Develop and maintain quality assurance plans to ensure solutions meet requirements Track issues, maintain issue logs, and support defect resolution processes Ensure compliance with design standards and data accuracy requirements Knowledge Transfer & Support Provide training and knowledge transfer to operations and support teams Develop training materials and documentation for end users and technical staff Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement of BI solutions Reporting & Communication Provide regular status reports on deliverables, progress, and issues Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding requirements, risks, and deliverables Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery Required Qualifications Experience developing and managing Tableau dashboards and visualizations Experience organizing rules, tasks, and data fields within Tableau environments Familiarity with Tableau batch processing and data job execution Experience creating and managing test data for validation purposes Understanding of software testing concepts including unit testing and QA processes Strong technical documentation and specification writing skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in enterprise BI implementations Experience working with data integration or ETL processes Experience supporting production BI environments and deployments Experience developing architecture and design documentation Core Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to translate requirements into effective BI solutions Strong organizational and documentation skills Analytical mindset with focus on quality and reliability Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Effective collaboration across technical and business teams Self‑motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
