This role is ideal for strong junior to mid-level engineers with solid EE fundamentals who want hands-on ownership of real flight hardware. Engineers in this role focus on schematic and PCB design, board bring-up, and lab testing, and will grow into deeper avionics specialization over time.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop board-level electrical hardware including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selectionPerform board bring-up, validation, and debugging in the labTest reference boards and early prototypes using standard lab equipmentSupport troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of hardware issuesWork with avionics, test, and manufacturing teams to iterate designs quicklyDocument designs, test results, and engineering changes clearlyBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related fieldExperience with PCB design tools (Altium preferred)Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power suppliesStrong understanding of core EE principles such as analog/digital circuits, power, signal integrity basicsComfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience taking a PCB from concept through bring-up and testExposure to embedded systems or firmware interactionFamiliarity with aerospace, automotive, robotics, or other high-reliability hardwareBasic scripting or programming experience (Python, C/C++)Leadership QualitiesBias to Action and Creative Problem Solving.
