Are you a dedicated General Medicine provider seeking flexible opportunities to conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams + Separation Health Assessments? We are currently seeking General Medicine Providers for locum coverage across the country, with positions available near SHEEP SPRINGS, NM.
Opportunity Details:Availability:This position is on a PRN basis, offering flexibility to accommodate various schedules.
Specialties Accepted:We welcome professionals from various backgrounds, including family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with experience in general medicine or compensation and pension exams.
Coverage Options:Choose between traveling to perform exams at a leased facility and/or scheduling appointments within your own practice, providing autonomy and convenience.
Shift Options:Choose between days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours) to accommodate your preferences.
Exam Details:Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments, primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing. No prescribing or treatment involved.
Credentialing:Benefit from a quick credentialing and onboarding process to expedite your start.
DMA Certification:Certification available with the opportunity to earn CME credits. Obtain certification if not already privileged.
Equipment:Utilize a Goniometer and your own personal laptop (NO MACs) for examinations.
Training:Comprehensive training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
Reporting:Submit completed DBQs within 48 hours upon exam completion, emphasizing completion of standardized form(s) rather than narrative reports.
Evaluation Process:Utilize the provider portal for streamlined evaluation processes.
Record Review:Active participation in record reviews required to ensure comprehensive assessment and documentation.
Follow-Up Administrative Work:Regular follow-up administrative tasks including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics to maintain thorough patient records.
Providers Needed:Join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, contributing to the collective effort to support Veterans.
Certification Requirements:Board Certified:Ensure board certification in your respective field.
