Serves as the primary security authority and liaison between the client and HighCom Security Services. Oversees security personnel, procedures, training, and emergency preparedness while developing and implementing the strategic direction of the site’s security program tailored to the client’s operational needs.Job Requirements, Prerequisites And Essential FunctionsJob SpecificationsEducation: Associate degree or equivalent experience requiredExperience: Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible security management experienceTraining or demonstrated knowledge in report writingMilitary or law enforcement experience encouragedLicense and CertificationsValid California Security Guard Card required Must be eligible to legally carry a firearm (CCW), if required by assignment or client contractPosition operates under HighCom Security Services, Inc. This position requires strict adherence to company confidentiality standards, data protection policies, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.Duties And ResponsibilitiesEssential (Not Modifiable)OperationsOversees the entire security operation of the site and ensures the highest level of security services are consistently providedEnsures security procedures deliver coherent, efficient, and comprehensive solutions for all site security needsMaintains awareness of all security incidents and ensures accurate and timely documentationServes as the primary point of contact and liaison between the client and HighCom Security ServicesProvides guidance and counsel to client leadership regarding security-related expectationsMaintains close vigilance of campus visitors while fostering a welcoming and professional environmentMonitors site-specific and surrounding areas for potential security threatsEmergency Preparedness & Threat ManagementMaintains and updates the Emergency Procedures Manual and security protocols covering fire, natural disasters, and security threatsContinuously monitors local, national, and international threat levels and adjusts staffing, posture, and procedures accordinglyEnhances security operations through ongoing review of procedures, activities, training, and technologyTraining & Staff DevelopmentAssesses and conducts training for security personnel and client staffTrains new security staff on post orders, site-specific policies, and company proceduresDevelops, schedules, and maintains a training calendar for recurring training, drills, safety meetings, and policy updatesProvides training to client staff, up to and including senior management, as requiredPolicy & Procedure ManagementCreates, updates, and enforces post orders, security policies, and proceduresReviews reports, tracks activities, and provides recommendations for continuous improvementAddresses concerns, complaints, and suggestions from security personnel, the client, and the publicCommunity & Agency RelationsEstablishes and maintains strong working relationships with community partners and agencies, including local, state, and federal law enforcementCoordinates with external agencies to support site security operationsAdministrationProvides leadership, direction, and accountability for site security personnelPerforms additional security-related duties as requiredOther InformationCompensation package includes competitive salary, medical, dental, and life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and additional benefitsEqual Employment OpportunityHighCom Security Services, Inc., is an equal opportunity employer.
