Residential Construction Service TechnicianLocation: Stratford Homes, Stratford, WI Travel required. As a part of our growing team, you'll be essential in keeping our homes in tip-top shape and ensuring our clients are happy every step of the way.As a Residential Construction Service Technician, you will also assist in all aspects of modular home building in a manufacturing environment in departments such as rough framing, roofing, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, siding, flooring, trimming and detail finishing.Our Core Values:Accountability: We own our actions and take responsibility for the results.Passion: We demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to our work.Trustworthiness: We are honest and dependable.Integrity: We do the right thing, even when it's complicated.Growth: We constantly strive to improve ourselves and our business.What You'll Be Doing:Delivering Customer Happiness: Develop and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction; including listening effectively to customer concerns and resolving any conflicts with customers.Service Coordination: Coordinate service work by contacting customers and planning to access their home.Keeping Things Organized: You'll stay on top of the details by tracking materials used, capturing before and after photos of work items, and reporting service van maintenance.Craftsmanship: Maintain high standards of craftsmanship. Follow home design and appropriate building code requirements in a neat professional manner. Operate drills, saws, hand, power and air tools in a safe manner. and adherence to safety rules and procedures.Competencies:Adequate knowledge of smart phones, office equipment and computers.Must have knowledge and experience in all phases of home constructionOrganization skills and record keeping are imperative, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Willing to travel to job sites to visually inspect reported items.Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure, and when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays.Able to work in a team environmentPhysical DemandsThis role will have you moving! The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move between 10 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Typical workdays are Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. If employees have not reached 40 hours by Thursday, they will be scheduled to work on Friday. Actual hours will vary depending on the type of service performed and the distance traveled. When not traveling for service work, employees will be expected to work in the production facility.TravelTravel is expected for this position. If traveling, employees will receive a meal allowance of up to $45 per day.
