Inventory ControlThe primary function of Inventory Control is to manage inventory through database and maintain levels required daily to meet distribution demands.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database. Close shop packets received and purge computer database. Receive and issue finished goods into computer database. Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel. Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired. Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights. Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory.Basic QualificationsHigh School diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years of related work experienceStrong Microsoft office skillsDemonstrated knowledge of Inventory Control core competencies: Strive to do the right thing by displaying trust and integrity. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs.
