In this position, you will pull, package, quote, quality check and invoice daily orders within time constraints while keeping part traceability on lot numbers. The Shipper's responsibilities include cross-training in claims, warehouse organization and supply maintenance. You will perform various projects as they occur and as time permits: carrier late delivery reports, package bulk stock, reorganize parts shelves, and physical counts.Position Responsibilities:Accurately locate parts in a warehouse environmentPackage orders in a safe and economical mannerNavigate inventory management systems to complete shipping transactionsIdentify opportunities to improve process efficienciesProvide shipping quotes to customersInterface with freight carriersBe engaged in customer service communicationsWork with sales and accounting teams to perform daily financial close out duties Experience and Skills:High school diploma or equivalentProven previous warehouse or manufacturing experienceAbility to navigate computer systemsAbility to use handheld electronic devicesMicrosoft Office proficiencyWritten and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively with a teamAbility to manage small projects personally and work independentlyTime management skillsOrganizational skillsDetail oriented with a quality mindset Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for long periods, climb ladders, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 lbs.Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance
