It’s about providing clarity and hope.The Drug Monitoring Account Executive is responsible for closing new business in the specialized testing market. Drug Monitoring Account Executives have call point ownership of large specialty physician practices and specialty clinics (toxicology, rehab, etc.). The specialist teams work in close cooperation with physician and hospital account executives to support the collaborative selling model.This is a field-based role. The territory encompasses the Southwest region including, but not limited to, Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA, and Las Vegas, NV. Candidates must be based in Los Angeles Metro Area.Pay Range (total compensation/uncapped): $155,000 - $175,000 / annually.Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. ResponsibilitiesConduct market research on client prospects in the assigned specialtiesAcquire information from Physician Account Executives, Health Care Provider Account Managers and IAMs on specialty opportunitiesDevelop a pipeline of prospects, expected closing month and approximate annual revenueOverlay rep to drive specific Clinical Drug Monitoring anchor tests in Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Substance Use Disorder, FQHC, Pain Management, Psychiatrist and Psychologist call pointsConduct business development activities to arrange appointments for sales presentations with decision makersPresent value proposition to prospectsObtain pricing and special servicesComplete contracting processInitiate client set-up and onboardingQualify leads from Internal Account Managers and follow upPartner with regional Marketing on trends and insights in the specialty spaceFacilitate problem resolution on behalf of clientsUpdate client and prospect notes in SFDCEducate other sales reps on opportunities within specialty accountsQualificationsRequired Work Experience: Three years sales experience in healthcare sales and servicingHunter mentality a must!Preferred Work ExperienceFive years healthcare sales experience in general and specialty fieldsKnowledgeClinical knowledge of assigned specialties; understanding of sales processes, account management and sales productivity and marketing tools (e.g.: SFDC)SkillsCapabilities to prospectStrategize and close new business opportunitiesCommunication and presentation skills.
