It means bins that fit into dishrooms, not just design decks. It means logistics, returns, and inventory models built for circularity — not linear throwaway systems.We're scaling fast across grocery and foodservice. Procurement is core to everything.The RoleYou will own procurement and supply chain end-to-end.Not a slice. Not a handoff. The whole system.You'll source products, negotiate contracts, manage vendors, build forecasting models, and ensure we always have the right inventory in the right place — at the right cost.This is a high-ownership, execution-heavy role. You should be as comfortable negotiating with a factory in Shenzhen as you are rebuilding a forecast model from scratch.What You'll OwnSourcing & Vendor Strategy- Own sourcing across all product categories:- Injection-molded PP containers (bowls, lids, cups, plates)- Gel ice packs, silicone components, bulk pails- Front-of-house (FOH) return bins — customer-facing, branded, durable- Back-of-house (BOH) return bins — throughput, stackability, wash workflows- Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers across China, India, Vietnam, and the U.S.- Run RFQs end-to-end: unit cost, tooling, cycle time, MOQ, and landed cost- Push on vendors — pricing, quality, timelines — and know when to switchInventory, Forecasting & S&OP- Own the demand forecast across all SKUs- Build inventory models for a circular system:- Units in circulation- Return rates- Loss / attrition- Replenishment timing- Set safety stock, reorder points, and allocation across warehouses and 3PLs- Maintain PO tracker and inbound shipment visibilityNegotiation & Supplier Performance- Lead all pricing and contract negotiations- Structure agreements that scale with us:- Tooling ownership- Payment terms- Volume pricing- Track supplier performance (OTIF, quality, responsiveness) and drive improvementsLogistics & Freight- Own freight strategy: ocean vs. air, consolidation, drayage, customs- Manage brokers and forwarders- Reduce cost and improve lead times continuouslySystems & Process- Build our procurement and inventory systems from the ground up- Design a circular inventory system that actually reflects reality- Create durable processes for vendor management, lead times, and reordering- Partner with Finance on COGS, landed cost, and inventory accountingWhat You Bring- 4–7 years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain- Experience working with overseas manufacturers (China/Asia strongly preferred)- Strong background in injection molding, packaging, or hardgoods- Proven track record negotiating cost-downs and better terms- Hands-on forecasting and S&OP ownership- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets; ERP experience- Clear, direct communicator with factories, brokers, and internal teamsYou'll Do Well Here If You- Care about unit economics at scale- Want full ownership, not a narrow role- Like solving real-world problems — materials, molds, logistics, operations- Are comfortable building systems from scratch- Care about sustainability and executionWhat We Offer- Real ownership of procurement at a scaling company- Direct impact on cost, operations, and product performance- Tight collaboration with Ops, Product, and Finance- Competitive salary, equity, and benefits- Work that directly reduces single-use wasteCompensation: $100,000-$120,000Competitive base + equity + benefitsTravel Requirement: Up to 25%
