Pay Range: $45/hr -$50/hrAbout the Role
Client is seeking an experienced IT Application Analyst to support the PCCS (Patient Care Communication Systems) Acceleration Team in the deployment and conversion of hospital units to the Rauland Enterprise (RE) Nurse Call System. This role will work closely with Ametek/Rauland technologies, supporting system design, programming, configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and implementation activities across healthcare environments.
The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with nurse call systems, low-voltage infrastructure, system programming, and healthcare technology integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Support enterprise-wide conversions to the Rauland Enterprise Nurse Call System.
Configure, program, and deploy nurse call systems based on unit-specific needs assessments.
Analyze design drawings, system layouts, and as-built documentation to support programming activities.
Troubleshoot programmed systems and assist Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) teams during go-live activities.
Collaborate with clinical, business, and technical stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
Research and resolve system issues, enhancement requests, and customer support inquiries.
Participate in software testing, implementation, and validation activities.
Ensure data integrity and proper functionality of configured systems.
Serve as a liaison between operational, clinical, and technical teams during project execution.
Support small-to-mid-sized implementation projects and contribute to successful project delivery.
Provide after-hours/on-call support as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree OR Associate Degree with 2+ years of business analysis experience.
Experience designing and implementing Nurse Call Systems.
Strong understanding of:
Device wiring and functionality
Nurse call system programming and configuration
Power requirements and system architecture
Console operations and zone light coverage
Experience with low-voltage cabling installation, terminations, and troubleshooting.
Ability to program systems and successfully deploy configurations to production environments.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals and nurse call system connectivity.
Experience reading and interpreting design drawings, floor plans, and as-built documentation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Rauland Enterprise (RE) Nurse Call Systems.
Knowledge of Rauland integrations with hospital systems.
Understanding of Rauland server architecture.
Previous healthcare or hospital technology experience.
Vendor certifications related to nurse call or healthcare communication systems.
