Service Associate (Full Time)

Position Service Associate Schedule Full Time, 40+ hours available Age Requirements Must be 18 years or older Responsibilities As a service associate you will focus on providing the best customer experience possible, partnering with multiple teammates to display, merchandise, stock, receive, and maintain the best retail environment possible. The role requires active movements that include reaching, bending, and lifting, with product weights ranging from 5–60 lbs. You will spend prolonged periods on your feet, standing or walking, continuously between breaks. Work Environment Mackey's is a fast‐paced retail environment that involves continuous interaction with customers, team members, and evolving store operations. Seasonality of the business introduces varying temperatures and allergens. Requirements Problem solver who is able to resourcefully overcome challenges. Leadership qualities such as leading by example and supporting the success of team members. Exhibit organization and prioritization skills to complete deliverables within deadlines while managing intermittent requests and interruptions. Recognize and seek opportunities to learn more about products and processes to enhance Mackey's customer experience. Properly handle, maintain, and store merchandise to ensure product integrity and safety for customers and team members. Proficient in Windows‐based software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Maintain teamwork and diversity awareness by having an inclusive approach to working with customers and team members. Willing to comply with pre‐employment screening, which may include but not limited to drug testing, reference verification and background check. Desired Experience Customer service, cashier, accounting office and/or service desk experience, particularly in a retail setting Write and speak clearly, concisely and with tact in a variety of settings using effective communication skills; demonstrating empathy and respect for others at all times Experience leading a team or project.
