Developsalternative solutions, uses reason at all times. Makes timely decisions while exhibiting soundjudgment. Includes appropriate people indecision making process.• Project Management - Organize, maintain andtrack sales data using sales pro or provided sales tracking software. Prepares weekly, monthly and annual salesreports as required. Participates inlocal area commercial agencies blitzes to include AAA, American Express,etc. Participates and assist in theplanning of hotel based sales blitzes. Incorporates marketing opportunities into sales activities whenapplicable. Creates research projects touncover new potential markets, accounts, etc. • Customer Service -Manages difficult oremotional customer situations. Respondspromptly to customer needs, requests for service and assistance. Establishes and maintains relationships withcustomers. • Communication - Demonstrates grouppresentation skills. Speaks clearly andpersuasively in positive or negative situations. Writes clearly, and has the ability to readand interpret written information. Communicates change effectively. • Team Work - Exhibits objectivity and opennessto the views of others and contributes to building a positive team spirit. Upholds organizational values, treats peoplewith respect and promotes a harassment free environment. Works closely with company revenue manager tomaximize revenue results. Works withMarketing team on a regular basis Also responsible for providing strategies forpromoting the hotel through various marketing and sales related medians to keyfeeder markets. • Quality Management - Aligns work withstrategic goals, looking for ways to improve and promote quality whiledemonstrating accuracy and thoroughness. Delegates work assignments, sets expectationsand monitors delegated activities. Schedule and track all sales appointments ensuring the required amountof sales calls are achieved. Provides sales training to staff of hotel as applicable. Responsible for coaching, developing andacting as a mentor. • Compliance - Maintains confidentiality. Ensures property e-marketing plan is updatedon a monthly basis • Business Acumen - Assists with developinghotels Sales and Marketing plan based on the hotels position and strengthwithin each market segment. Responsiblefor knowing hotel demand segment, sources of business for each balance marketsegments according to supply and demand. Knows hotels principle competition for each market segment and takesadvantage of each hotels strength against each competitor. Familiar with forecasted occupancy fluctuationsand directs selling activities to maximize revenues. Assists in preparing individual hotel budgetsthat correctly reflect hotels business plan. Ensures assigned sales objectives for RevPar are met for theregion.
