The ideal candidate is self-driven, capable of working with minimal supervision, and eager to contribute to cutting-edge energy storage and power conversion projects.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble line replaceable units (LRUs), power and control cabinets, and support hardware for:Large energy storage systemsIndustrial electronicsGeneral power conversion equipmentTest large energy storage systems and industrial electronic systems.Perform field installations, testing, and troubleshooting of hardware and equipment software.Support the build and integration of advanced power systems for government and defense applications.Minimum Requirements3+ years of hands-on hardware build and testing experience.U.S. Citizenship required due to U.S. Government ITAR restrictions.Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.Preferred QualificationsExperience with any of the following is highly desirable:Large energy storage systemsIPC J-STD standardsPLC systemsFabrication and machining3D printingReading engineering drawings and schematicsMIL-SPEC environmentsMedium-voltage power distributionSurge protection systemsComplex wire harness assemblyCurrent & Upcoming ProjectsBuilding large battery-based energy storage systems utilizing power electronic converters.Supporting future medium-voltage systems (4,160V and 13.8kV).Working with 50kW–500kW converters/inverters interconnected for megawatt-scale power applications.Supporting projects across U.S. Navy (surface and submarine), Army vehicles and infrastructure, and aircraft platforms.
