Chief of Staff - Group Execution & Coordination

Job Title: Chief of Staff – Group Execution & Coordination Report to: Group CPO, dotted line to CFO and CEO Location: Germany / Italy (hybrid) – regular travel across European entities Job Overview This role is designed as an execution-focused Chief of Staff position. It requires a hands-on mentality, being a partner to support the management team, especially CEO and CFO in managing and scaling a European group with approximately 30 operating entities. The role focuses on operational execution, coordination, and follow-through of CEO priorities, ensuring that strategic decisions are translated into concrete actions across the organization. A core element of the role is providing strong financial insight and supporting the coordination of cross-functional projects. Success in this role depends on credibility, structure, and reliability rather than formal hierarchy. This role is intended as a development position with strong exposure to group management, finance, and cross-border operations. It can serve as a steppingstone into broader group roles, finance, strategy, or operational leadership positions over time. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Operational Execution Support the management team in structure as well as driving the groups strategic priorities Prepare analyses, business cases, and recommendations to support executive decision-making Track decisions, commitments, and action items to ensure timely execution. Cross-Entity Coordination Act as a central coordination hub between group management and local leadership teams Follow up on agreed initiatives across the ~30 legal entities and ensure transparency on progress Support alignment on operational topics such as budgeting, planning, reporting, and key initiatives. Legal & Regulatory Project Coordination Coordinate cross-functional projects with legal, compliance, or regulatory relevance Act as a liaison between Legal, Finance, and Business teams to ensure alignment and risk mitigation. Candidate profile and requirements Education & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in management consulting or corporate strategy First exposure to senior management or C-level stakeholders is highly desirable Strong analytical and structuring skills High execution focus and reliability in follow-through Solid project management capabilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple workstreams in parallel Personal Attributes Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented Curious, fast learner with a strong ownership mindset High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism Comfortable working in a dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment High level of self-structuring and ownership Languages & Mobility Fluency in English is mandatory Additional language skills in Italian and / or German are a plus Willingness to travel regularly within Europe J-18808-Ljbffr
