The Database Administrator will build and manage SQL clusters, prioritize memory, SQL security, Data Classification, SQL queries, and SQL Backup management.Responsibilities• Thorough understanding of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and later.• Can setup, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server in a clustered environmen.• Can configure replication of databases and understands impact of replication on system• Understands best practices for maintaining, backing up and restoring SQL databases in a high-transaction, 24x7x365 environment• Can author and monitor database maintenance scripts to ensure optimal database operation.• Develops and implements disaster recovery procedur• Ability to conduct analyses and generate reports to reflect findings• Maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniquesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in a related Information Technology field preferedMinimum of 5 years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and higherDemonstrated knowledge with SQL Server Database Engine, buffer cache, transaction log architecture, backups, and execution moProficiency in SQL and T-SQL is fundamental
