Position: Float Teacher (Full-Time)About the Role The Float Teacher provides coverage and support across classrooms, stepping in when teachers are absent, on breaks, or when additional help is needed. This position works with various age groups, offering variety and the opportunity to build relationships throughout the center. Job Responsibilities Provide classroom coverage for teachers who are out, on break, or as needed Support daily routines and activities in infant, preschool, and other classrooms Assist with implementing lesson plans created by Lead Teachers Maintain the health, safety, and supervision of all children Engage children through positive, nurturing, and educational interactions Ensure compliance with DCFS, NAEYC, and center policies Qualifications Required: Minimum of 6 college credit hours in Early Childhood Education or a related field Experience working with children preferred Flexible, dependable, and comfortable working with multiple age groups Why Work at Scribbles Center for Learning?
