You'll take technical requirements from discovery through development, testing, and deployment, working closely with functional consultants and project managers to deliver robust, maintainable solutions. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys deep technical problem-solving, hands-on coding, and owning deliverables from design through go-live.What You'll DoDesign, develop, and deploy customizations for SAP Business One (SDK, Service Layer, DI API, UDFs/UDTs, add-ons) and Acumatica (customization projects, generic inquiries, business events, integrations)Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designsBuild and maintain integrations with third-party systems (e.g., e-commerce, EDI, tax engines like Avalara/Avatax, CRM, WMS)Configure core ERP modules (financials, inventory, sales, purchasing, production) to align with client processesWrite and maintain custom scripts, reports (Crystal Reports, SSRS), and workflow automationsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation and post-go-live supportDocument customizations, technical specifications, and configuration decisions for long-term maintainabilityCollaborate with project managers and functional consultants to ensure on-time, on-budget deliveryProvide upgrade remediation support, assessing the impact of platform upgrades on existing customizationsWhat You Bring10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Business One development (SDK, DI API, Service Layer) or Acumatica customization (experience with both strongly preferred)Solid understanding of core ERP business processes: financials, inventory, order-to-cash, procure-to-payExperience integrating ERP systems with external platforms via APIs, web services, or middlewareStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently under project deadlinesAbility to translate business requirements into clear technical specificationsExperience working within a consulting or VAR environment is a plusBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)Nice to HaveSAP Business One and/or Acumatica certification(s)Experience with tax integration platforms (Avalara/Avatax)Familiarity with EDI and e-commerce integrationsPrior experience supporting multi-tenant or hosted/private server environmentsExperience with Boyum products, specifically Be.asWhy SoftengineWork across a diverse portfolio of clients and industries - no two projects are the sameDeepen your expertise across two major ERP platforms rather than being siloed into oneCollaborative team environment with direct exposure to the full project lifecycleJ-18808-Ljbffr
