SAP FREINDLY Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. This role is crucial in supporting our e-commerce operations and demand planning efforts, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain. Duties Operate trucks to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all packages are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Collaborate with warehouse management systems to streamline order picking and inventory management. Utilize transportation management systems to optimize routes and improve efficiency. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Previous experience in logistics or transportation is preferred. Familiarity with e-commerce operations and demand planning processes is a plus. Knowledge of category management principles related to freight handling is beneficial. Ability to operate warehouse management systems effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking tasks. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
