Diagnostic Technician
Akkodis is seeking experienced Level 2 Automotive Diagnostic Agents to deliver high-quality, chat-based technical support. This is not a high-volume, call-driven role—we’re looking for professionals who prioritize accuracy, problem-solving, and exceptional customer experience.In this role, you will support technicians via chat to assist with ADAS recalibration and vehicle system diagnostics, helping ensure safe and precise windshield-related sensor functionality.📍 Plymouth, MI (Onsite → Hybrid after training)Pay Range: $28/hr. - $30/hr. (The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)Work Environment & ScheduleOnsite in Plymouth, MI for first 5 months of training ,Transition to hybrid schedule (2 days/week onsite) after trainingShifts Available :7:30 AM – 4:00 PM EST9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST10:00 AM – 6:30 PM EST1:00 PM – 9:30 PM ESTCoverage required Monday–Saturday (occasional Saturday shifts expected)What You’ll DoProvide chat-based diagnostic support for ADAS recalibration and related vehicle systemsGuide users through manual troubleshooting and ticket creation processesInterpret and apply OEM service procedures and technical service bulletins (TSBs)Deliver clear, professional, and customer-focused communicationAccurately document diagnostic steps and resolutionsRequired Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)5+ years of hands-on automotive diagnostic experience (dealership or lead technician at an independent shop required)Background in ADAS systems and advanced vehicle diagnosticsStrong troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving skillsProficiency with OE or aftermarket scan tools (familiarity with OEM software preferred)Ability to read, interpret, and follow OEM repair/service procedures and TSBsIn-depth knowledge of:Engine Management SystemsADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)Safety Restraint Systems (SRS)Antilock Braking Systems (ABS)Electrical/Energy SystemsSteering, Suspension, and Braking SystemsStrong understanding of:Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)Vehicle system behavior and diagnosticsComputer literacy and comfort working in structured systemsProcess-driven mindset with attention to detailStrong customer service and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsAutomotive certifications or formal training (ASE certifications welcome but not required)Experience with ECU reprogramming/flashingIf you are interested in this Level 2 Automotive Diagnostic Agents job in Plymouth, MI then please click APPLY NOW.
