This person will lead a dynamic, daily radio show while also creating content that reaches and connects with listeners across digital platforms. From short-form video to podcasting and social engagement, this role exists to build spiritual connection and authentic community through every form of media. The ideal candidate embraces a “digital-first and radio-centric” mindset, always thinking about how to extend content beyond the airwaves for deeper impact and broader reach.Essential FunctionsOn Air Show: Create an on-air experience that draws listeners in and builds listenership.Confidently share spiritual truth and faith in context that is easy to understand.Generate ideas for on-air execution. Show PrepDevelop compelling, audience-focused content and conversations that connect with our target listener - both on-air and across digital platforms.Embrace a multimedia mindset in daily show prep, always asking: What’s the digital application? What’s the social post, reel, blog, or podcast angle?Tailor stories and segments for radio first, then adapt and extend them for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, podcast platforms, and beyond.Collaborate proactively with video and social media teams to build content that has broader reach and deeper emotional resonanceDigital Content Creation & Audience EngagementExtend the voice of the evening show through weekly digital content - including podcasts, short-form video, blog posts, and social media storytelling - all aligned with Vida Unida’s brand voice and show themes.Plan and create original content (reels, video shorts, audio clips, behind-the-scenes footage, etc.) for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and podcast apps.Engage with listeners authentically across digital platforms, fostering community through comments, conversations, and ministry-minded responses.Collaborate with other departments (video, digital, marketing, donor engagement) to align show content with broader ministry initiatives and deepen its emotional impact.Always approach the show as a multimedia experience - radio, digital, and social working together to build connection, grow community, and go beyond the airwaves.Demonstrated FaithCommitted to a personal relationship with Jesus ChristGrounded spiritually and biblically literateComfortable praying for co-workers in team meetings, leading spoken prayer, and participating in ministry prayer meetings and Bible studiesLive Christian principles defined by the ministry’s Statement of Faith & Biblical BeliefsParticipate in on-air fundraisers and prays for donors as neededPassion for leveraging the HMG’s media platforms for evangelism and discipleshipExhibit a strong moral characterActive member of a Bible believing local churchRequirementsRequirements and Qualifications:EducationBachelor's degree preferred, but not requiredExperience2-5 years on air radio experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesA personal relationship with Jesus Christ, spiritually grounded, and active in a Bible-believing local churchStrong moral character with a heart for Christian ministry, joyful attitude, and sense of humorNatural ability to share faith in a conversational, engaging wayStrong on-air presence and compelling personality with excellent listening and storytelling skillsProven ability to connect with and build a loyal community of listeners and fansSkilled in show prep, with excellent grammar, writing, and verbal communicationPPM-market experience preferred (for candidates with radio background)Proficient in Adobe Audition or Pro Tools (preferred), with solid general computer skillsExperience creating digital-first content — including video, podcasting, and bloggingComfortable on camera and experienced in podcast hosting, recording, and/or editingAbility to adapt and repurpose radio content for social media, blogs, and other digital platformsUnderstanding of what works for both radio and digital — and how to blend the two effectivelyPassion for emotionally resonant storytelling that drives engagement across platformsCollaborative, innovative mindset with a desire to rethink how radio content can build deeper connection in a digital world.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone.Working Conditions and EnvironmentTravelOccasionally (Mentoring and occasional professional development opportunities)Nights/Weekends/Holidays:Must be available to work weekends/evenings and occasionally holidays for Vida Unida events.
