System Engineer Requirements and Verification Lead – Medusa Program
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or related discipline.
Systems engineering experience within requirements, verification, and validation.
Experience with missile, defense, aerospace, or related systems.
Experience with DOORS or another requirements management tool.
Experience working with government customers.
Active or current Secret clearance; US citizenship required.
Responsibilities
Ensure system requirements are complete, traceable, testable, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
Coordinate requirements with system architects.
Coordinate verification planning, execution, and reporting.
Facilitate requirements reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR) and manage resulting action items.
Develop program‑specific requirement and verification plans.
Work closely with system architects, subsystem leads, software/hardware engineers, and program managers to align technical solutions with program schedules.
Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of subsystems.
Ensure all requirements and verification artifacts are correctly version‑controlled and stored in the Requirements Management tool.
Desired Skills
Knowledge of AGILE process.
Experience with MBSE architecture tools.
Experience with system‑level integration and testing events.
Experience as a team or systems lead collaborating across engineering disciplines.
Additional Information
Role location: Onsite full‑time at the designated Lockheed Martin facility.
